Formate - Getting Started
Introduction
Welcome to Trilogic Formate, and Thank You for choosing this product!
System Requirements
To install one or more Formate programs on a machine, you will need:

A PC running either Windows 98, Windows NT or Windows 2000.
- 64MB of memory.
- 100MB of available disk space before Formate is installed.
- An 800x600, 256 colour display or better. It is possible to run Formate at lower resolutions or colour depths than this, but the programs will be more difficult to use (especially the Configuration program).
The Formate Suite
The Formate Suite consists of several programs, each of which is installed independently and carries out a particular task. Depending on your circumstances, you may choose to install more than one of them (or even all of them) onto the same machine. Otherwise, you will need to decide which of your available machines is most appropriate for each program.
The Formate Installer has a Help button which provides more information about each Formate program to help you decide where to install it, so if you are unfamiliar with the suite you should read that help before installing.
Some of the programs are optional and supplied at extra cost, and they will only be usable if you have purchased an appropriate license. You will be able to install such programs, but they will then refuse to run so there is no point installing them. The Installer's help gives guidance on which programs require an extra license. If you aren't sure which licenses you have purchased, contact your Trilogic representative.
Licensing Conditions
During the installation, you will be asked to agree to the Formate licensing conditions. These are also available through the Installer's Help button if you wish to read them before starting to install. If you feel you can't agree to the conditions, please contact your Trilogic representative as quickly as possible to arrange return of all materials and documentation for a refund. Installing a Formate program constitutes acceptance of the conditions.
